Todd Smith has made history in a rare move; CBS has signed the rapper/actor to a development deal worth more than seven figures and has structured the agreement in such a way that he will be afforded the opportunity to choose any production studio.  Typically, talent deals limit actors to working under the network's own in house studio, but they are so confident in the return that LL Cool J is going to bring the station until they do not care who he uses.  However, the agreement guarantees that LL and Jason Barrett of Alchemy Entertainment will serve as producers on any project Todd signs onto.  According to the agreement Todd Smith will focus his production slat on the development towads dramas.  CBS is the home of America's top-rated drama " CSI ," which landed the rapper/actor amidst a fierce bidding war that involved at least two other networks.  His critically-acclaimed guest-starring role last season on " House ," allegedly peaked the interest of networks higher ups that began flooding the rapper with pilot offers last spring.  However, at the time Todd Smith's attention was devoted to the promotion of his self titled album at the time.

Well, Michael Jordan has won in court, but I am not so sure if he did at home.  The basketball legend won a legal battle against a whore who claimed he promised to pay her $5 million in hush money.  Now is her stuff good enough to be worth $5 million then she must be Wonder Woman or something for Jordan to pay a hunk and a chunk to make her disappear.  The whore's name is Karla Knafel, who claimed she was pregnant with Jordan's child and that he said he would give her $5 million to keep quiet about their affair.  A Cook County Circuit Court judge ruled that any alleged agreement between Jordan and his white whore was invalid, as definitive test showed Jordan is not the father of her child.   Jordan was a fool to have gone with this woman in the fist place and deserved just what he got.  No, Michael did not have to pay his slut off, but the world knows of his adulteress ways.   Judge Stuart Palmer wrote, "as a result of Knafel's fraudulent misrepresentation to Jordan that he was the child's father or, alternatively, as a result of a mutual mistake of fact, the alleged settlement contract is void and...unenforceable."  It is amazing that Western Society has made everyone believe the lie that every man wants a white woman including King Kong and Godzilla.  Of course Jordan denied ever agreeing to pay Knafel $5 million.  He sued his tramp Knafel in 2002, alleging attempted extortion.  In the court documents, Jordan said that Knafel threatened to publicize their affair and had agreed to pay her $250,000 after the paternity tests showed her child was not his.  Obviously, Jordan was not the only man this whore Karla was taking to bed and having unprotected sex with during the same time Jordan was seeing her.  Knafel continued her argument in a counterclaim that when she became pregnant in 1991 she thought the baby was Jordan's and upon telling him, he agreed to pay her $5 million to keep quite about the affair and that as a verbal contract, it should still stand whether the child was his or not.  Well, you can tell that all she every really wanted from this Mandingo was his money.   Jordan got just what he deserved and that was for the truth to come to the light even though Karla's bastard child is not his.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb finally proved he can really talk.  Either he did not want to say anything bad about Terrell Owens or he was scared T.O. was going to kick his ass a second time.  Whatever the case until now Donovan has been quiet.  The football quarterback spoke to a reporter after practice on Friday regarding T.O's new book, " T.O . "   McNabb , who had not actually read the book, called the new release autobiography 'a children's story,' disputed some of the book's allegations and continued that Owens had misquoted himself.  In " T.O ." which came out earlier this month.   Owens wrote his account of the second season with the Eagles .   Owens helped lead the team to the Super Bowl during the 2004 season, but his relationship with McNabb deteriorated soon after that.  Things got so bad that Owens was kicked off the team.   Owens will be wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey this season.   Donovan does not mind talking now and was even bold enough to say that Terrell mentions his name so often in the book that he should be considered as a co-author.  "It won't sell unless he's talking about me," McNabb said.  Although, Donovan was extremely critical of T.O.'s book he did clear the air on the rumor that he had something to do with Eagles management's decision to suspend Owens even though there was a serious rift between the two stars.  "I can sit here and say that's not true," McNabb said.  "If I had that much pull, a lot of changes would be made."  Well, the Eagles came close last season in spite of all the T.O. fallout, but it remains to be seen what will come of the team this season.
Well, I knew it would happen sooner or later.   Beyonce' and her mother Tina's clothing line, House of Dereon has been sued for $1.5 million by a former business associate Greg Walker.  According to Walker, CEO of Icon Entertainment, he created the deal for the mom and daughter duo, but was never fully compensated for his work.  As a result, Walker has filed a breach of contract suit against Beyonce' and her mother, Tina in New York's Supreme Court.  He claims he was hired by the two in August 2003 to help secure endorsement licensing deals.  While working in that capacity, Walker landed a $15 million deal for the House of Dereon with clothing manufacturer Wear Me Apparel, Corporation.  Walker alleges he was only compensated $25,000 for his efforts, which is a far cry from the terms in his contract.  " Beyonce and Tina Knowles agreed on the terms of our business relationship, but have failed to properly compensate me for reasons unknown to me."  Walker said in a statement.  "I just want to receive my fair share and move on with my business."  Walker is also suing Ware Me Apparel for neglecting to pay the remainder of his fee.  The company only paid him $85,000 according to Walker.  Both parties have declined to comment.  It seems that Greg signed a major deal based upon his contacts and connections to make a deal happen and now that he was successful he cannot get paid.  Word to the wise, get all your money up front.
Divas Raising Hell ... Naomi is obviously completely out of control and might even need to be physiologically evaluated to find out what is going on with the supermodel.  This woman is too good looking to behave like an ally cat.   Naomi has traded in her couture gowns for jail house strips again.   Naomi has a rap sheet a mile long and is known for her violent behavior, was arrested again after she allegedly caused a disturbance outside an ex-boyfriend's house last week.  According to British reports, Campbell went to the house to retrieve some belongings, but getting her stuff apparently turned into some sort of shouting match due to the police being called, after getting a report of a wild woman causing a disturbance.   The police retrieved the Supermodel's belongings, but did arrest her due to her behavior.  Several hours after she had been in custody, Naomi calmed down and was released without being charged.  Sounds like someone had not taken their medication and as a result had another episode.

The word is the staff of " America's Next Top Model ," created by Tyra Banks , could be facing a labor strike.  According to sources there is a great deal of drama behind the scenes.  Good for Tyra , she is always spilling the beans on the ills of the modeling industry while she is a partaker herself.  Wow, a hypocrite!  About a dozen staff members are threatening to walk if the show does not agree to their demand for union representation.  Ken Mok, the executive producer, is the target of the threats.  Insiders say this is the biggest fight the show has ever faced and beats out all the cat fights that actually appear on the show.  The writers of the show want to be represented buy the Writer's Guild.  Now Tyra has done all that talk about unions and do not do this and do not do that and her show is driving a slave gang.   Tyra shut up!  If you do not allow your own staff to join a union.  Mok tired to ease out of the fight on a small technicality that the show falls outside of the existing WGA basic contracts with Hollywood's major studios due to the show being independently produced.  Mok did share with the disgruntled employees that they should handle their dispute through the National Labor Relations Board.  California is a right to work state and they want cheap labor, which is the bottom line.    Tyra Banks do you have integrity; we expect more of you especially since you are so critical of everyone else.

Well, United Airlines did not give Mo'Nique a Phat Chance.  They put big momma and her out of control group off the plane.  Before she was to be a guest host on " The View " Mo'Nique was shown the door on a flight from Chicago to New York.  Now according to the reports her hair stylist stowed a hair dryer in a first-class overhead bin, but was seated in coach.  A flight attendant asked why she placed items in an overhead bin in first class when she was seated in coach.   Mo'Nique was upset about her stylist being questioned, but remained calm.  However, when the second flight attendant got involved Mo'Nique got heated.  The exchange escalated and soon the flight attendants demanded that Mo'Nique and her entourage leave the plane.  They were escorted back to Chicago's O'Hare Airport, where a supervisor called the police on a belligerent passenger.  Now you know Mo'Nique and her entourage had to have acted like fools to be asked to step off the plane. Mo'Nique is making this an issue of color when clearly is it not, but one of appropriate behavior.   Joel Osteen , the pastor of Lakewood Church, wife was removed from a flight earlier this year as well.   Mo'Nique has used her celebrity to make this a racial issue when it is obviously not.  Based upon how HORRIBLE Mo'Nique looked on " The View ," last week with those waves her stylist should have been arrested.   Mo'Nique is my girl, but she did not look good on the show and is seriously over reacting on this one.

Kelly Rowland also appeared on " The View ," last week and no mention was made of her expecting.   Kelly appeared in the seat that was left empty by Star Jones Reynolds , who was fired from the popular talk show.  According to reports Kelly Rowland is two months pregnant with her first child.  "It is kind of a bitter-sweet feeling because I was planning to release an album next year," the 25-year-old is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirrior .  The paper went on to say that Kelly has chosen to keep the identity of the father quite; her breakup last year with Dallas Cowboy Roy Williams is still a shocker.   Roy called the wedding off due to his feelings that he did not get to know his soon to be bride well enough to go through with the wedding.  Seems to me Roy should have thought about all that before he asked Kelly to marry him.  Sounds more like Roy had a serious case of cold feet.
Hip Hop continues to become more mainstream.  The Hip Hop Summit Action Network chairman Russell Simmons , president and CEO Dr. Benjamin Chavis were to be inducted as CISRI-ISP Permanent Observer Missionaries to the United Nations Goodwill Ambassadors program.  CISR-ISP is a new campaign that promotes awareness of extreme hunger and malnutrition in carious countered around the world.  The organization, through its Hip Hop 4 Peace Program, uses Hip Hop to draw attention to the issue, as well as war, poverty, and HIV/AIDS.  Hip Hop continues to travel to the top.

Seems that " Noah's Arc ," America's first black gay TV series that in many ways is the black gay " Sex In The City ," is coming back for a second season with a bang.  LOGO is putting some serious money behind the show based upon the huge success for the first season.  No doubt with all the talk about black men being on the down low has played a major roll in the show being a must see.  " Young and The Restless " star Victoria Rowell , " Soul Food " vet Rockmond Dunbar , B2K's Raz B , and Keith Hamilton Cobb, who played Damon Porter on " Young and The Restless ," are among the celebrities to appear in the second season, which premiers August 9. The show centers on the close friendship of four gay black men that live in Los Angeles and all the struggles they face with their lifestyle, relationships, and sex.

According to my " Street Committee "... Mike Vick is the subject of a lot of talk again.  Although, the Atlanta Falcons quarterback has entered training camp.  The world is awaiting to see what happens this coming season and if the Falcons will make it to the Super Bowl.   Vick is the highest paid player in the NFL.  However, there is a photograph floating around of Michael Vick with what appears to be a marijuana blunt in his hand.  The photo was actually on the page of a young lady that claims to be Vick's girlfriend.  Now the world knows that the NFL's drug policy explicitly prohibits the use of marijuana.  The policy does not penalize a player for this first violation, but a player is fined for a second violation, for Vick it would amount to $2.5 million, a four game unpaid suspension for a third violation, and a season long unpaid suspension for a fourth violation.  A picture is worth a thousand words and in Mike's case you can draw a number of conclusions about the bump or cold sore that appears near his lower lip on the same photo.  Allegedly Vick has herpes and gave it to a former girlfriend, a 26-year-old health care worker.  She filed a lawsuit after she tested positive for herpes after having unprotected sex with Mike .  Seems she was trying to get pregnant so she could get paid a hunk and a chunk in child support.  There is a cloud of suspicion over Mike's head based on his getting tested under a false name and settled for an undisclosed amount of money prior to the case going to court.  A source close to Vick told Obnoxious he paid the woman six-figures to disappear.  We all know there is no cure for herpes even if you have Michael Vick's kind of money and that a person with herpes from time to time will experience flair ups and break out.  Hopefully that was just a zit on Mike's lip.
