It seems that Big Ruben is going to attempt to make a comeback. A comeback is just what it will be or was he ever really out there. Ruben’s career did not seem to really take off like some of the other “ American Idol ” winners after their big break. Seemed that Ruben took a backseat to Clay Aiken , who was the runner up when Ruben won. Clay’s career took off and Ruben has not been able to catch up. Ruben is clear that he has been low key and has titled his sophomore album, “ The Return ”. “I’ve had people ask me where I’ve been in the past few years so I thought calling it ‘ The Return ’ made sense,” Studdard shared. “I’m letting all the people who’ve followed me from ‘ American Idol’ until now know that basically I’m back.” “ The Return ,” comes three years to late. |

However, Ruben has been busy battling in court against his ex-manager. The Velvet Teddy Bear came out a $2 million dollar winner. His former manager has been ordered to pay Big Ruben a hunk and a chunk. Additionally, the big guy launched the Ruben Studdard Foundation For The Advancement of Children In the Music Arts , which provides scholarships, after school programs and summer camps to music students. Cube has taken his battle ax out again; the rapper is
pissed off at Governor Schwarzenegger for ignoring
the inner cities of California. The former movie star is accused
by Cube to pay more attention to world issues
and ignores problems in the inner cities. “He pisses
me off just by the fact that he is the Governor of California. That’s
enough,” Cube said. “You know,
that man should just focus his sh*t on California and what he is
going to do about poverty. It’s rabid in the inner city.
He needs to be worried about that, not anything on a national
or global level.” Schwarzenegger
met with British Prime Minister Tony Blair for
a roundtable on the environment and global warming. While
the topic is a critical one since the heat wave that we have experienced
all across the nation. It has been hot as hell this summer
and HBO even did a special on the topic that explained how just
leaving your computer on and other simple things that pull energy
recourses contributes greatly to this global problem. However,
Cube thinks that Schwarzenegger
is not doing enough to fight violence in the streets of California.
“You’ve got to realize, there’s a lot of
money in California but is suffers from economic greed,” he
explained. “Nobody wants to give up their piece of the
pie, so nobody can live a real good life without resorting to killing
each other.” Well, Cube should know,
since he sold more dope then than the law allows prior to his career
in the world of Hip Hop and now movies. Now it is great to
be and activist, but do not be a hypocrite. Cube
you get out there and do something and request the support
of Governor Schwarzenegger your efforts. Moreover,
what in the hell was Cube doing when Arnold

Dash seems to have finally
found something to do now that he has been completely ejected from
Roc-A-Fella. The co-founder of Roc-A-Fella and Hip Hop mogul
is working on three film projects. Dash
is the executive producer of 2004’s Kevin Bacon
drama “ The Woodsman ” and
the current Cuba Gooding , Jr .,
film “ Shadowboxer ,” will
add to his resume with the aforementioned upcoming films set in
the Big Apple. Hopefully these projects will prove to be more
profitable than his reality show on BET. Dash
will partner with Universal Pictures and Tribeca Prods partners
Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro ,
for a drama based on the life of Larry Davis .
At 19, Davis shot and wounded six NYC police
officers and escaped despite being shot in the head. He was
on the run for 17 days before turning himself in on the promise
that the FBI would investigate local police corruption. “In
urban culture Larry Davis is something of a legend,”
Dash explained. A fact-based film on a female
fight club in Brooklyn is also in the works. A third project
for Damon Dash is the life story of mobster Joe
Stassi , a go-between for Myer Lansky and Lucky Luciano.
Dash has a number of independent films in
his body of work and he will work to produce them now that he is

the song. Well, that is not the case for Prince .
Manuela Testolini Nelson has filed for
divorce allegedly due to the large amount of time Prince
has been spending with his new protégé’
Tamar . Prince has been
taking the girl all over the country doing mini concerts with her
singing a lot of his old material, but she sucks and he has not
been able to get her signed to a major label. Obnoxious
along with a large number of attendees were greatly disappointed
in the concert performance. Testolini Nelson
is 29 years-old and worked for Prince’s
recoding complex Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis. In 2001,
the two married in a secret Jehovah’s Witness ceremony in
Hawaii. Currently, Testolini runs a Gamillah,
Inc., which includes a production company, a line of designer candles
and other businesses. According to her attorney it was a difficult
decision and that she is hoping for a quick and cooperative resolution.

said to have been close to proposing to his longtime girlfriend
Kim Porter . However, it is said that Kim
has put the marriage plans on hold due to her learning
that Puffy may have fathered a bastard with a thirty-year-old
woman that lives in Atlanta. According to sources close to
Miss Porter , she feels humiliated and is furious
with Sean . The woman is said to have given
birth to a child about two weeks ago and Diddy
is scheduled to take a paternity test soon. The source also
shared that Kim has learned to accept Sean’s
cheating ways, but having another child is more than the
former model can handle. The source went on to inform Obnoxious
that Kim might be done with the Badboy
founder once and for all if he is the child’s father; Miss
Porter has been publicly embarrassed by Diddy
before, especially when he dumped her to date Jennifer
Lopez . Diddy was later dumped
by Lopez during his trial. Sean
Combs is said to have had a number of affairs since he
and Kim have been an item again. Earlier
this year the couple purportedly had an argument on Diddy’s
yacht that left Kim with a broken nose.
However, Kim stayed with the rap mogul and
said that she banged her nose on a table. Diddy
will have to add to the hunk and a chunk he is already paying monthly
in child support. Misa Hylton-Brim, the mother of Puffy’s
first child Justin, receives $19,000 a month in child
support and Kim Porter , the mother of his 8-year-old
son Christian, receives a whopping $32,000 a month in child support.

Raising Hell continues … Kelly Rowland vows
that she is not pregnant. It would be devastating for Kelly
to have a child and not be married. According to
CBS the rumor that Kelly was pregnant began with
a posting on several Internet websites by someone known as “Keith
Slogan—AMG (amgmusic.com). The post said that Rowland
told AMG about expecting when she stated, “It’s
kind of a bittersweet feeling because I was planning to release
an album next year.” The London Daily Mirror
picked up the story and ran an article about it a
few days later in a gossip column. A press release issued
by Rowland’s label Sony BMG said “Statements
attributed to Kelly regarding her alleged pregnancy
were never made by the artist and a purported interview with the
AMG never took place.” The former member of Destiny’s
Child and cousin of Beyonce’ according
to Sony is busy working on her second solo album, “ My
Story—Kelly Rowland ,” due early next
year after it was pushed back from its original June 2006 release.
Mathew Knowles , Kelly’s
manager, says the project was pushed back for marketing reasons.

girl Beyonce’ has been the subject of rumors
that pre-orders for her album, “ B-Day ,”
strategically began last week to take the focus away from the release
of a debut solo album from former Destiny’s Child
member LaToya Luckett . Let me
clear that when you are on the level of Beyonce’
it is not necessary to attempt to undermine anyone. Business
is business and that is the bottom line. If LaToya
is good then she will be fine and nothing Beyonce’
or anyone else tried to do would stop her success. We
all know that LaToya and LaTavia
left the group over personal and financial issues with manager,
Mathew Knowles , and filed a lawsuit against him
that was later settled out of court. Beyonce ’
stated that she would never do anything to undercut sales of LaToya’s
album and she does not have to do anything malicious.

will premiere a film about the life of Fantasia Barrino
, the “ American Idol ,”
winner. There is a great deal of talk about just what the
movie will reveal about the television singing competition that
has taken America by storm. Over 65 million people watch the
show that has been the subject of criticism in the past. It
is said that the movie will reveal that Fantasia
was approached by producers about stepping down when it looked like
she would win and they knew she was an un-wed mother and illiterate.
Obnoxious has a source that is close to
the family, who shared that Fantasia became pregnant
by the son of a pastor in the Mt. Calvary Holy Churches of America.
Bishop Ivory Harold Williams is the presiding
prelate of the organization and the husband to the popular gospel
singer Shirley Caesar . It remains to be

after the show began production on the drama’s sixth season.
Nona will be replaced by Theresa

in “ Badboy I and II ,” Randle
is signed on for only three shows, but her deal comes
with an option to continue on as a regular cast member; Seems that
something is up on the set of “ Law & Order

Peele , the model that was arrested for credit card fraud
plead no contest to recovering a woman’s stolen wallet and
stealing the credit card numbers to buy furniture, a refrigerator,
a washer and dryer and other items. The shopping spree landed
her in hand cuffs and behind bars. Los Angeles Superior Court
Judge Lloyd Nash sentenced the 31-year-old to three years’
probation and 300 hours of community service. The former catwalk
diva was ordered to pay $4,000 to the victim and $900 in restitution
to American Express. Peele’s attorney,
Brian Oxman, said his client has paid the restitution, and that
this whole ordeal was the result of an innocent mistake. Well,
he must think that everyone in the world is a fool, death, blind,
dumb, cripple, and crazy to believe that his client made a mistake
when she called and ordered a number of expensive items with someone’s
credit card. “This was an error on her part of using
the wrong credit card number and she’s made everyone whole,”
Oxman told the press after Beverly was sentenced. |

Dealers and Killers strike again …Shots
rang out at a So So Def Records party in Atlanta, resulting in at
least three patrons of the club being hospitalized with gunshot
wounds. According to police the shooting at Atlanta Peach
Ballroom on Buford Highway was sparked when one man in the packed
club tried to steal another man’s chain. Suddenly, bullets
started flying and three women were hit with gunshots. They
were rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital. The party was the
culmination of a series of weekend events sponsored by So So Def,
the label founded by Jermaine Dupri . DJ Star will not go to jail. As you may recall the New York morning show host was fired after he made crude and disparaging remarks against DJ Envy of a rival station Hot 97, including the threat of performing a sexual act on his four-year-old daughter. He was arrested for child endangerment, but criminal charges were dismissed by the district attorney’s office. Born Troi Torain , stated that he was proud to have walked the walk that many of his friends and colleagues in the Hip Hop industry has walked. Torain even made a weak attempt to defend his gross statements as freedom of speech. Cleary Troi , DJ Star , or whatever he wants to call himself is a sick and confused man. The former Clear Channel radio personality says he will file a $55 million defamation of character lawsuit against New York City Councilman John Liu, who was a vocal critic of Star’s on-air comments. |

Al Harrington status is getting shady after
he dropped his agent Andy Miller in favor of Arn Tellem. The
thought is that bidding would be reopened. Harrington
has said that he would like to return to the Pacers
. The Pacers have been the only
team negotiating for Harrington recently and
have reached a standstill with the Atlanta Hawks .
In more basketball news Dale Davis , forward
for the Detroit Pistons was arrested in Miami
Beach, Florida, and charged with disorderly conduct, assault,
and resisting arrest. Stephon Marbury
is trying to repair his bad image with his new $14.98 tennis shoe.
Stephon says it is geared for inner-city
kids, it remains to be seen how well the shoe will do.
Former
Atlanta news anchor Warren Savage was arrested
on charges of marijuana possession and giving police a false name
or information. According to Gwinnett County police spokesman
Cpl. Darren Moloney, police made the arrest just after 8 p.m.
in response to a domestic disturbance call at the Best Western
Peachtree Corners in the Norcross area. Savage
was charged with marijuana possession of less than 1
ounce. According to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s
Department Website, bond was set at $1,755 and at the time of
my deadline he was still in jail. Savage ,
42 had yet to make bail. Savage abruptly
left his job as the morning co-anchor last September and said
in an e-mail that “before he would sell out he would get
the hell out.”
