Monica's life has been no crystal stairs. Young but full of wisdom, Monica talked like she has been here before, as Big Momma would say. "I have made a great deal of sacrifices to get here," Monica explained. All of the experiences makes her the woman she is today and appreciative of her journey. The young mother gets a great deal of help from her mother, who also her manager; with taking care of her new grandson. Much needed assistance allows Monica the opportunity to balance career and child well. Monica explained that she has to have people around her that she can trust. Not always was singing her forte, she laughed about her brief modeling career. "I tried it and I hated it," Monica said laughing. "Modeling was not a good experience for me." Some women do not like being controlled and Monica was not happy having to wear garments she did not pick out nor the standing or posing for long periods of time. Reality television producers have come knocking on Monica's door, only to find that a grown lady was the one to answer. The songbird declined due to the respect she has for her family and their privacy. "It would have been too much," Monica declared. "They would have taken all of my family's privacy away, like those shows do." Monica was cleaver enough to avoid sharing what networks had approached her, but she did say that she is her father's only daughter and that it has a very special meaning and family is more important to her than money. Due to the industry having changed so much and a number of new competitors, but Monica is confidant that she can hold her own. She even went on to share with me that she likes Kiesha Cole . MTV's Video Music Awards was the first major appearance Monica had made in a long time. On that night she looked amazing and wore a comeback smile all night. "I enjoyed the evening so much," Monica said smiling. "I like Beyonce and OK-GO's performances the best. Those guys dancing on the treadmills were the bomb."
Always true to my Obnoxious form. Monica had to open up to me about the very sexy photo on the album cover. "I wanted to do something grown and sexy," Monica said smiling. "It is sexy, but not too much to me and I love the photo of me topless holding my son. My mom had some problems with the cover," she added. Monica wanted sexy and she by all means accomplished it. The cover pops right out you because we have never seen Monica like this before. Not sure if she will tour, but she is out promoting the new CD heavily. However, touring is not out of the question for the new mother, it just has to be the right circumstances for her to go on the road. |

Big Tigger is not playing, he recently turned
down an offer to continue hosting the morning show at New York's
WWPR 105.1 FM because he found the money they were offering an insult.
"I know what I'm worth, and I know what a morning show is worth
to a station," he told reporters. "We couldn't agree on what
that was. There were no hard feelings. I love Power-105.
I love Helen Little, program director. It just didn't work
out." Tigger bounced from the temporary
position in late summer, leaving co-hosts Egypt and Donnell Rawlins
to steer the ship until a permanent replacement is found for fired
jock, Star. Big Tigger began his radio career
in 1994 and was hired by Clear Channel in 2003 to help launch Power-105
as a hip hop rival to WOHT (97.1 FM). After Star's abrupt
departure this year, the media company called on Tigger
and another hip hop radio veteran, Egypt to fill-in on
a temporary basis. "We had never worked together," said Tigger
. "We had to put a show together on the fly, following
someone who had done as well in the ratings as Star. Under
those circumstances, I thought what we did was pretty impressive.
We talked about issues, we had jokes, and we played music.
It wasn't tame, it wasn't too racey. Kids could listen.
It had balance. I don't hear a lot of that on New York radio
these days." Some money is better than no money I thought,
but I guess not to Tigger. |

 What
is up with Busta Rhymes ? Something seriously
has changed about this guy; he is not the cool exocentric rapper
that he once was. Busta now has a horrible
disposition and a wanna-be-gagster image that is not working.
Busta is continuing to stay in the news these
days for all the wrong reasons. The rapper reportedly
cancelled a concert at the last minute for the second time in two
years. According to the Sydney Morning Herald
, Rhymes, born Trevor Tahiem
Smith, Jr. was scheduled to perform at the Sydney Entertainment
Center, but backed out of the appearance because he wanted more
money and business class for his entire entourage and five star
accommodations. The promoter, PDA Touring, released a statement
saying that "outrageous demands on the eve of the departure by Busta
Ryhmes' management prompted the concert to be cancelled.
According to sources close to Rhymes say, he never
intended to perform in Sydney, because the tour schedule on his
official website noted that he was due to open for Mariah
Carey on the same night in Oakland, California.
Sounds like a serious case of Deja-vu, in 2004 Busta
was due to perform in Sydney, but cancelled the gig after members
of his entourage were detained for several hours at Sydney Airport
due to immigration issues. Busta needs to
get a reality check real quick or he is going to loose the fans
he once had. Seems he might not have been considered hard
enough thus, the cause of his recent common thug behavior.
Get over it already and be yourself Trevor because

Raising Hell ... Star Jones has given
the National Enquirer an ultimatum: either
admit that a story calling her marriage a "sham" is untrue, or prepare
to do battle in court. The former attorney and former talk
show co-host is very sensitive these days. Bob Chapman, the
high-profile attorney who represents Star and Al,
told reporters that the Enquirer's story
that Al is gay and marriage is falling apart is not true.
Chapman insists, "They are happily married," adding that
Star is emotional and stressed out over the story.
The article in question featured a headline " Star Jones'
Husband Walks Out !" In a demand letter to the
Enquirer , Chapman wrote the article was
false and defamatory and has caused them massive damage. The
letter also stated: "You have also chosen to state that Mr.
Reynolds is gay. While Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds
believe that everyone should be free to make their own choice concerning
sexual preference and that there is nothing wrong with being gay,
you nave nonetheless chosen to falsely state that Mr. Reynolds is
gay." Chapman also stated that the Enquirer
as done grave damage to their reputations, both publicly
and privately. Star's marriage has cost
her everything; her career, her reputation, and her self-respect.
The once I am so happy to be single and dating heavy set, I got
it going on Diva has lost weight and turned into a woman that feels
she has to defend herself against alleged lies. It was a well
known fact that Al Reynolds was said to have been bi-sexual prior
to his marriage to Star . When she was asked
about her then husband-to-be she said he was honest with her about
his sexual past and she was open with him about her past as well.

Campbell is not going to be satisfied until she is in
jail. The troubled supermodel was threatened with arrest by
a New York judge after she failed to make a court date regarding
the alleged attack on her housekeeper. Judge James Gibbons
of the Manhattan Criminal Court told Campbell's
attorney David Breitbafart that he'll issue a bench warrant for
the model's arrest if she missed her next court date on November
15. As you may recall the 36-year-old catwalk queen is charged
with second-degree assault and faces up to seven years in prison
for allegedly throwing a cell phone at her housekeeper, Ana Scolavino,
causing a head injury that required four stitches. Breitbart
attempted to explain Campbell's absence to the
judge privately, but Judge Gibbons Denied the request and insisted
he speak on the record. "The press is all over this girl.
There are over 100 cameramen outside this courthouse," Breitbart
explained, before Judge Gibbons interrupted him with: "They
have a right to be here." The judge then turned to the prosecutor
and asked incredulously, "The defendant failed to appear today and
you are not asking for a bench warrant?" "Yes," replied
Assistant District Attorney Christian Browne who told the judge
that a possible plea deal was still being worked out. Well,
Naomi is going to have to get her tail in gear
real fast, because this Judge Gibbons seems to be ready to throw
the book at the diva. Clearly there are some serious physiological
issues and Naomi could use a few good visits on
someone's couch. |

 Apparently,
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker
were not as in love as they seemed to be in the fairy tale relationship
they had for a little over a year. According to People
Magazine , the couple has called it quits due to distance
and demanding careers. "They did break up. It's amicable,"
a source told the magazine, adding, "They are talking and trying
to figure the best course of action for their future. They
are trying to work things out." Eva did
not break her silence during recent interviews to plug the new season
premiere of the show she stars in on ABC, " Desperate
Housewives ," various talk show hosts riddled her
with questions about Parker, a guard with the San Antonio
Spurs . But sources say that things have been rocky
from the start. The distance and demanding careers finally
caused the break. In an earlier statement issued by Longoria's
rep Liza Anderson, she stated, " Eva
and Tony are going through a very difficult time
right now, just like any other couple with extremely demanding careers."
However, Parkers people are saying the reports
about the breakup are not true. No happily ever after ending
to this fairy tell-romance. Come on how long did you think
they were going to make it. They were so cute together they
almost made you want to throw up, and to add insult to injury they
met in the locker room after a Spurs game.
Now how dreamy is that, but no one stopped to think it might have
been a nightmare. |

Allegedly Whitney Houston and Bishop Eddie Long are somehow involved with each other. According to reports of a woman close to Whitney , the Bishop had been involved in a close relationship during Whitney's rehab. Eddie Long served as a spiritual counselor to Whitney , but they have allegedly taken some weekend retreats that according to the source were far more than spiritual. |

Monica
makes a new milestone. Once a teen sensation, Monica
is now a very mature young lady celebrating over a decade
in the music business and releasing her new album " The
Makings of Me ." The resurrection of the young
girl that became a star in 1995 at 15-years-old, " Don't
Take it Personal (Just One of dem Days)" and "
Before You Walk out of My Life ."
Born Monica Denise Arnold , is now 26 and is
making moves like a veteran in the music industry. I got
a chance to catch up with her while test driving a 2007 Lincoln
Navigator, who sponsored a private concert and release party for
the Georgia Peach. The sexy caramel complexioned
young lady handled the over size SUV with ease as we engaged in
a deep conversation. Monica explained
to me emphatically that her son is the number one priority in
her life right now and that music is second.
The
singing sensation is focused and very clear about her life and
plans now than she has ever been before. "I am not one of
those artist that sell 20 million albums, but I do have a consistent
fan base," Monica explained. "A
lot of my people have followed me since I started at 13-years-old." 
Monica
was in total control of this comeback album and she
did not mind calling the shots. Recording the majority of
the project while six months pregnant, Monica
kept the group working on her album small and intimate.
"I did not want anyone around me that smoked or did drugs working
with me," Monica shared. "I cannot work
with anyone that I do not respect." Seven years since that
horrible day when she witnessed her boyfriend, Javen commit
suicide right in front of her. Now, after seven years, she
has finally felt the release to continue her craft and mover forward
in her life. Never seeking any mental help to process the
horrific experience she sought after the Lord and became extremely
spiritual. Seeking God and writing a song called " After
the Storm ," gave her the mental help she needed
to move forward with her life. With that drama aside, she
now celebrates a new soulful album. It is a classic Monica
sound that she offers her fans, " The Makings
of Me " It's basically saying it's a testament to
the fact that this is a musical diary. It's just simply
about the last decade of my life. We talk about a lot of
different things on the album as far as things that I've been
through; different situations. And we just take a walk through
that last 10 years of my life up until this point," she explained.
"
Everytime Tha Beat Drop ," is laced
with a heavier beat than we are used to from Monica .
It is a nice departure from the other ballads and mid-temp offerings
on the album. Monica takes you to the
ATL with Dem Franchize Boyz and Jermaine
Dupri . Atlanta artist have such a bond that is
increditable how they support each other and enjoy the others
success. Signature Monica is exemplified
in her ballad " A Dozen Roses ," This
track samples Curtis Mayfield's " The
Making of You ," which resulted in influencing the
title of the album. "After we did the song, Missy decided
to use that sample on her own. She already decided that
would be the track that we would sing over and do the record around,"
Monica shared with me. "And once bringing
it home, Clive Davis listened to it over and
over and he was like I have the answer, The Makings of Me.
And I think that hook is standing out a lot."

"Rev. Run" Simmons and his family held a small hospital
room funeral for his daughter Victoria Anne Simmons, who died
a short time after being born in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
The rapper told reporters: "Right there in the hospital
room, Bishop E. Bernard Jordan prayed over the baby and gave a
sermon. The funeral director came, too. That's how
we did it. We prayed for acceptance. It's painful,

committee suicide, but he might have found something to live for

if he really tried to take his life or not, but allegedly he suffers
form depression. A source close to the professional athlete
would not tell me what causes him to go into deep depression,
but she was aware of some serious personal issues that he as not
come to terms with that may have caused him to want to end it
all.

I am not impressed. Recently I tried to talk to the world
champ to only get the cold shoulder due to his being so taken
with two half dressed sluts that were grinning in his face and
quickly exchanging numbers. After he got the two girls numbers
locked into his cell he told me he was sorry and did not know
I was press, but he was late for the bus and would get with me
next time. Not sure it will be a next time. Dwayne

of basketball, Tracy McGrady finally gave the
mother of this two children his last name. That is
right the couple recently wed this summer in Los Cabos, Mexico
