Mario Vazquez excused himself from final 12 competition on “American Idol” in 2005 citing personal reasons, which soon led to talk that his true intent was to avoid being bound by the restrictive record contract offered to the shows winners. But a newly filed lawsuit suggests that Vazquez may have left the show because of an alleged incident that took place in the men’s bathroom stall. So here it goes, Magdaleno Olmos, a former assistant production accountant on the show has sued American Idol Productions, Fox and Vazquez for wrongful termination, alleging that he was fired after complaining to various show executives that Vazquez had sexually harassed him by making unwanted advances, flashing his genitals, and engaging in other inappropriate behavior. Vazquez is said to have allegedly stared lasciviously, smiled lasciviously and followed Olmos into a bathroom and knocked on the door of his stall and made eye contact through the space in the stall door. The lawsuit says Vazquez started to rub his genitals over his pants. Attempting to leave the bathroom, Olmos opened the door of the stall and saw Vazquez standing in front of him with his pants down masturbating. Vazquez is said to then have pushed Olmos into the stall and continued to masturbate with one hand and trying to pull down Olmos’ pants with his other hand. Olmos said he tried to cover his body with his hands but Mario touched his chest and stomach underneath his shirt and his genitals. Then he tired to unzip Olmos pants and asked if he wanted oral sex.

The lawsuit goes on and on with more details of how Olmos managed to get out of the stall. Seems that would not have been very hard to do if a half naked man was standing in front of you playing with himself. All Olmos had to do was kick him one good time to get him out of the way. Olmos said that he tried to report the incident to one of his superiors named Eric LaPointe, who allegedly replied that Olmos was crazy and threatened to fire him. According to the lawsuit, Vazquez withdrew from season four after Olmos discussed his harassment allegation with executives and attorneys for American Idol Productions and other defendants, including Fremantle Media North America, Fox Entertainment Group, and Fox Broadcasting Company, all are listed in the suit as co-owners of the show. A few months after the incident, Olmos alleges he was fired. Well, time will only tell what really happened, but something might be up with the entire case. Magdaleno Olmos could have defended himself in a far more aggressive fashion that would have not lead to his having been terminated. Although, it is said that claiming sexual harassment in the workplace is far more difficult when it is a member of the same sex; in these cases the accused is subject to the thoughts and beliefs of their superiors. Olmos may have played with the advances of Mario that led him to believe that he could continue to go further with hopes of winning Olmos over. “American Idol,” is a favorite television pastime by many, but always seems to be far more trouble than what it is worth to me. One thing we know is fact Mario quit the show for some odd reason very abruptly and Olmos was let go for reasons that were said to be confidential. Time will tell if Mario was really hot in the pants for Olmos the way he claims in his lawsuit.

Chris Rock’s movie “I Think I Love My Wife,” is worth the wait until it comes out on DVD or cable television. The entire movie is based upon one man that is not clear if he is unhappy or bored with his marriage. So boring that I cannot even recall where I got tired or the most frustrated. At one point I could not believe it was still going on and on for more than an hour before anything really happened. Rock’s sophomore directorial project is far worst than his poorly constructed political satire “Head of State.” Based on a sophisticated French movie called “Chole In the Afternoon,” “I Think I Love My Wife,” Rock plays a man named Richard Cooper that has a great job as an investment banker, lives in the suburbs, loves his two children, has a nice looking wife, but he is bored out of his mind. After seven years of marriage to his wife Brenda (Gina Torres), he feels an itch. He finds himself thinking of what it would be like to have sex with many of the women he encounters during the day and wonders what his life would have been like if he did not marry Brenda. Richard’s commitment is tested when a unexplained visit of a good friends past girlfriend test his restraint. Nikki Tru (Karry Washington) appears one day out of the blue on his job and her quest to conquer him begins. A good idea goes wrong when Richard begins to have numerous unexpected and uninvited visits by Nikki to his job. Claiming to be only friends Richard gets a fulfillment from Nikki that he does not find at home with his boring wife Brenda that does not want to have sex with him.

“I Think I Love My Wife,” goes from bad to worst when Richard goes to Washington, D.C. in the middle of the work day to help his friend move some of her things to New York. Nikki’s ex-boyfriend gives Richard a beat down and causes him to miss a very important meeting at work. Richard comes very close to losing his job and even picks a fight with his wife at the suggestion of his friend Nikki. The movie goes on and on with a number of one liner jokes that you may or may not laugh at and Chris Rock will live up to his reputation of attacking African Americans and this time he gets on women. Constantly using words like B*tch and the N-Word Rock attacks these groups in his jokes to make up for a piss poorly written screenplay by him and his friend Louis C.K. Richard is consistently teased about his white collar job and his boring existence by his sexy friend Nikki, who happens to be the ex-girlfriend of his college buddy Raymond (Orlando Bloom), who almost killed himself over his love for Nikki. Richard spends the entire movie bragging that Nikki is just his friend when he plans to cheat and gets all the way to taking her panties off to not have sex. Richard acts as if he should be rewarded for not going all the way, but he actually cheated on his wife when he allowed himself to enter into an emotionally attached relationship with a woman other than his wife. “I Think I Love My Wife,” is set in New York City, where the N-Word is banned, but Chris Rock gives you a good dose of it in his movie. Making money off of making fun of African Americans and Women this movie is a total waste of time and should be watched on cable television when you are snowed in or have absolutely nothing else to do with your precious time.

While out promoting his horrible movie Chris Rock addressed rumors that his marriage to Malaak Compton-Rock was headed for divorce court are not true. A New York paper even reported that he was asked to wait until after the movie was released to proceed with his divorce, but according to Rock none of the allegations are true. He went on to say that he is not troubled by any of the things he reads about himself in the tabloids but he may become more concerned when his children are older. However, as for now Rock said that is some of the bad that goes along with being a celebrity. He and his wife have appeared together and very happy on a number of red carpets together and all smiles. The rumors are said to have stemmed from the idea of the movie might having some basis on Rock’s real life marriage. This might have just been a publicity stunt to promote a movie that is not good.

Chicago supports their own. The Academy Award winner, Jennifer Hudson caused people to turn out in record numbers to support the “American Idol” contestant receive her own day. Mayor Richard Daley proclaimed “Jennifer Hudson Day” to honor the 25-year-old South Side native and her award winning performance in the movie, “Dreamgirls.” “She’s an inspiration to everyone who has a dream,” Daley told hundreds of screaming fans. “People told her ‘You can’t.’ And she said ‘I can.’” Dressed in a black wool coat and Burberry scarf, Hudson, took the stage carrying her Oscar statuette and thanked those who gathered outside the Chicago Theater for the ceremony. “Not only can I do it, but you can do it, too,” Hudson declared before singing several bars of a song from “Dreamgirls.” Earlier that day Hudson made an appearance at her former high school, Dunbar Vocational Career Academy, to offer inspiration to the student body. The actress was greeted by thunderous applause, and many in the crowd found encouragement in her never-give-up attitude. Hudson is also making headlines with Avon Products Inc., the company announced that Jennifer would be the new spokeswoman for its Imari brand and new scent, Imari Seduction. The Imari line was launched in 1987. The fragrance will not just be mail order, but will hit the shelves in August. “This is an honor for me and very flattering,” Hudson said of her association with the product.

Super producer Timbaland is going to step in to see about Britney Spears. Timbaland has seen the disturbing roller-coaster ride that is also known as Britney Spears life. Known as a super-producer and the one responsible for the success of her ex-boyfriends Justin Timberlake has made public his concerns for Britney’s well being. “I feel her pain, it really bothers me,” the 34-year-old artist says in Entertainment Weekly’s March 16 issue. “I’m the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work it out.” Timbaland is doing a lot of wishful thinking to want Justin to be a part of Britney’s musical rehab. “I asked Justin, ‘How would you feel about me working with Britney?’ I had to ask him that,” Timbaland told the magazine. “I said, ‘Would you do it with me?’” Timberlake said he would, but added that Britney would have to be serious. As you well know Britney Spears is 25 years-old and currently at Promises Malibu drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in California. The rocky road leading to her residence there included two abandoned stays at rehab facilities and an impromptu trip to a hair salon where she shaved herself bald. “I just want to hold her hand,” Timbaland said. “I want her to be in my camp, to be around Justin. I need Justin to talk to her, Help her, please!”

Not so sure what Timbaland will be able to do with Britney without a medical degree and some years of experience as a psychiatrist. Clearly, Britney has had a complete and total nervous breakdown. The pop singer seems to fall head over heels in love with the wrong men or men that use her as an opportunity for a big break. Justin Timberlake, Columbus Short, and now Kevin Federline all have walked away from Britney with successful careers it must have driven her crazy. Perhaps all of the success and fame was too much for Britney and before Timbaland tires to put his production skills to work by reviving her career he needs to make sure she is of sound mind.

Drug Dealers and Killers Strike Again…The word is that Kelis’ husband Nas might have been at the root of her explosion in Miami. Kelis Rogers-Jones, 27, was detained at 4:30 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without physical violence after she allegedly rushed toward cops screaming racial profanities, according to a police report. The officers were in the midst of an undercover prostitution sting along a main avenue in the South Beach nightclub district. The report said they were questioning a group of men about two suspected female prostitutes who were spotted in the area when Kelis began rushing toward them using racial profanities and screaming that one of the men in the group was her husband.

The officers asked Kelis to step away, but the report states that she continued shouting and rushed toward them. The singer had to be restrained by her friends, the report said. Kelis’ behavior caused people walking by to stop and form a crowd, The sidewalk was blocked by the disturbance causing people to walk in the street and cause traffic to stop,” according to the police report. She calmed down for a few seconds, but then started shouting at the officers and charged at them again, the report said. Police also say Kelis resisted arrest while being handcuffed. She was detained for several hours at the Dade County Jail until her release on $1,500 bond. Earlier the same day, Kelis and Nas sat courtside at a Miami Heat game. A female fan that recognized Nas and shouted, “I love you, Nas,” according to reports. Kelis allegedly responded by cursing the woman out, police said. Now it seems it is a lot more to this story then what is in the police report. Obviously Kelis has a problem with Nas’ female fans approaching her husband in her presence, but what was Nas doing in the midst of prostitutes with his wife not far away. Something is up that caused the situation to spin out of control. Nas hanging out with the Ladies of the Night while his wife is watching and she is the one arrested.

Bobby Brown’s attorney Phaedra Parks spoke with me at Dallas Austin’s Don’t Stop the Music” Foundation Dinner to clear up reports about her Badboy client’s supposed deal with Washington D.C. radio station Hot 99.5 in relation to his release from a Massachusetts jail. During our conversation I reminded her of the station’s claim Brown agreed to appear on The Kane Show for one week in exchange for payment of the $19,000 in back child support Brown owed to the mother of his two children. Whitney Houston’s soon-to-be ex-husband was jailed when he could not come up with the money. On Wednesday night, he was released after his brother Tommy arrived at the jailhouse with a check covering his debt. Hot 99.5 said they were responsible for bailing the former member of New Edition out of jail, but Phaedra said that was completely false. She told me that 99.5 did not pay one penny towards Bobby’s bail. “Bobby was released from jail on the same night that I was en route to Boston. Furthermore, the monies promised by 99.5 were not received by my office until late Friday afternoon via a wire transfer. The money was promptly returned upon receipt.”

I informed Phaedra that Jessica Ritch, a rep from Hot 99.5 said the money was returned and that the station was told they were bailing him out of jail. The money had been up-fronted, and our money would be used to pay back the person who originally fronted the money. On Friday we learned that he was already out of jail. Phaedra responded, “There was never a signed contract or any formally executed agreement regarding Bobby’s appearance on 99.5. It appeared to be a publicity stunt by 99.5 at Bobby Brown’s expense.”

Old habits die hard; rapper/actor Ice-T has never made any apologies about his being a pimp prior to his career in the music business and his becoming an actor. But is seems that Ice-T is pimping again or he might have never stopped. Coco, Ice-T’s wife is known for her very curvy figure and she is baring it all for the world to see. Now many of you will recall her many album covers in bikinis only covering the vital areas to now allowing you to see all of her in several online videos of her stripping. Now you know I get all this stuff sent to me, but this is extremely steamy and very risqué. Now the only stuff that has been hotter is Ray J and Kim Kardashian. In one scene she is in a bed and others, in the kitchen. One video she appears to be in a sun-room. Ice-T is nowhere to be found, but was most likely the director of the videos. The word is that all the videos are current and a part of her 2007 calendar/DVD.
